To post a message or comment with embedded HTML, simply type in text formatted as HTML in the comment area. For longer HTML formatted postings (and to avoid having to learn HTML), most word processors now allow saving files in HTML format. If you then import this same HTML document back into your word processor or text editor as TEXT, you can copy and paste the HTML text into the "Post Article" comment window. Look at the examples below and then try pasting some HTML into the Practice forum posting area to test your output.
HTML examples:
<a href="mailto:username@domain.edu>"Persons name</a>
To include a link to a home page URL:
<a href="http://www.domainname/filename/">Link name</a>
To include a link to an image with a link:
<a href="Default.htm"><img src="www.domainname/filename.gif" alt="name"></a>
To include a link to an image without a link:
<img src="www.domainname/filename.gif" alt="name">
