General description: The Trauma Registry Program Supervisor is responsible for the overall functioning of the statewide Trauma Registry. This includes program planning, implementation, staff supervision, budget management, and development of program procedures. Work involves the facilitation of the Trauma Registry Workgroup and coordination of special management and research projects.

Essential functions:

Develops, implements, and monitors program goals and objectives. Supervises the work of program staff. Prepares program budget requests, write budgets, submits purchase requests, and project budget expenditures. Facilitates Trauma Registry Workgroup meetings and activities. Meets and communicate with other programs, agencies and groups to provide information about the Trauma Registry and to gather trauma-related information. Develops and recommends program guidelines, procedures, policies, and rules. Participates in special investigations, data analysis, and epidemiologic research studies in conjunction with injury epidemiologists and research specialist. Preforms any other duties necessary to the development and operation of the program.
